Port of Barcadera – ASTEC and Customs Expand the Main Gate Opening Hours
— Enhanced Services Flexibility —
ASTEC hereby announces that effective Monday May 3rd 2021, the opening hours of the Main Gate at the Port of Barcadera will be changed and expanded from 7:30am – 4:30pm w/o interruption from Monday through Friday. Mr. Mike de l’Isle, Managing Director / CEO of ASTEC N.V., comments: “the expansion of our service hours at the Main Gate of the Multi-Cargo Sea Terminal at the Port of Barcadera is driven by the need of our customers for more flexibility in attending to their container cargo handling needs. We are very pleased with the cooperation of Customs and all employees involved to make this enhanced container handling service capability happen and we look forward to a successful transition with all parties involved.” Mr. Rodrick Croes, Director of Douane (Customs) stated: “within the context of facilitating commerce, Customs is making use of the opportunity together with ASTEC to change the opening hours of the Main Gate at the Cargo Port of Barcadera.
