Het RCC heeft direct de AW helikopter naar de locatie gedirigeerd om assistentie te geven. Bij aankomst nam de bemanning het levenloze lichaam van de persoon waar in zee. De kustwachthelikopter heeft het levenloze lichaam uit het water gehesen en aan land gebracht. Het lichaam is vervolgens aan het KPC overgedragen voor verder onderzoek.

This afternoon a report came in at the Rescue and Coordination Center of the Coast Guard Police Curaçao that a young man at Noordkant had fallen into the water. The young man and his friend were looking for shellfish when he slipped off the rocks and ended up in the ferocious sea. The RCC immediately conducted the AW helicopter to the location to provide assistance. On arrival, the crew took the lifeless body of the person in the sea. Coast guard helicopter raised and brought the lifeless body from the water. The body was subsequently handed over to the KPC for further investigation.
