CURAÇAO LAAT DE WERELD ZIEN DAT ER LICHT AAN DE HORIZON IS
Willemstad, Curaçao – In moeilijke tijden is een signaal van hoop en licht uitgezonden, dat is de belangrijkste boodschap die de organisatoren van #LightTheSky Curaçao naar de wereld wilden sturen. Er gebeurt nog steeds zoveel goeds, dus er is altijd licht aan de horizon.
De kracht van het solidariteitsinitiatief dat de entertainmentindustrie op het eiland in een zeer spontane verontwaardiging toonde, werd gedaan op zondag 22 maart 2020 van 19:00 tot 21:30 uur. Het legde alle hoeken stil en degenen die in quarantaine waren, voelden de positivisme vanuit het helende hart van Curaçao.
Het evenement werd LIVE gestreamd op sociale media via de Facebook-pagina van Light the Sky Curaçao en in samenwerking met de lokale televisiekanalen.
Speciale dank gaat uit naar het organisatiecomité, dat een klein initiatief nam en het in een hele beweging veranderde die ze niet eens konden bedenken.

Zulke momenten moeten we altijd het hoofd hoog houden, voor elkaar zorgen, veilig blijven, samen vechten, hoop levend houden, de nodige voorzorgsmaatregelen handhaven, alles zal dienen als we zegevieren voor een betere toekomst
CURAÇAO SHOWS THE WORLD THAT THERE IS LIGHT ON THE HORIZON
Willemstad, Curaçao – A signal of hope and light has been sent out in difficult times, that’s the main message the organizers of #LightTheSky Curaçao wanted to sent out to the world. There is still so much good and positivity happening around, so there is always light on the horizon.
The force of the solidarity initiative that the entertainment industry on the island showed in a very spontaneous outcry was done on Sunday March 22nd, 2020 from 19:00 till 21:30. It paralyzed all corners, and those in quarantine felt the positive vibes coming from the healing heart of Curaçao.
The event was streamed LIVE on social media through the Facebook page of Light the Sky Curaçao and in cooperation with the local television channels.
Special thank you goes to the organizing committee, that took a small initiative and it turned into a whole movement they couldn’t even thought.
