Read more…CTB AND LOCAL PARTNERS AT DUIKVAKER VIRTUAL EXPO 2021The Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB), together with 17 local partners, recently participated in a virtual edition of the Duikvaker Dive Expo. This year, the virtual fair aimed at divers and snorkelers attracted a total of 100 exhibitors and presenters from around the globe, showcasing their products and services to the European consumer. Read more… MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING SIGNED BETWEEN THE CTB AND THE UOCThe Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) and the University of Curaçao Dr. Moises da Costa Gomez (UoC) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This MoU is the result of several meetings between the CTB and the university to formalize a non-exclusive framework of co-operation between the two parties. It covers exchange and collaboration programs between the parties in the areas of knowledge, sustainable development and tourism industry expansion. The disappointing numbers for January are directly related to a negative travel advice announced by the Dutch Government early in December 2020, placing Curaçao to code orange. This decision continues to have a negative impact on arrivals from our number one market; The Netherlands.
