- This certification comes to join the “Let’s create new possibilities together!” campaign, and to the “S.A.F.E.” protocols, recently launched by the company.
Oranjestad, October 15th, 2020 – Subway®, the world’s largest restaurant chain, has obtained the “Aruba Health & Happiness Code” certification, a certificate program that assures all visitors to the island that the highest health and safety protocols will be upheld throughout their stay. In this way, Subway® guarantees the well-being of its guests in all its restaurants in Aruba.
After the reopening of its borders in July to start receiving foreign tourists and gradually reactivate this economic sector, Aruba launched the “Aruba Health & Happiness Code” program to certify that companies and establishments on the island have taken all the necessary measures to offer a safe environment to all its collaborators and clients, both local and foreign. To obtain the certificate, Subway® had to comply with the registry and protocols available online, established by the Public Health Department.
“With this certification, we at Subway® take a step forward and reinforce our commitment to our guests, sandwich artists and other collaborators to ensure their safety”, said Jesús Rodríguez, head of Corporate Social Responsibility at Subway Latin America. “This economic reactivation must come hand in hand with measures that guarantee the well-being of all, and we continue working daily to achieve it,” he concluded.
This action is part of the ongoing efforts of Subway® to stay close to its guests, and joins its new campaign “Let’s create new possibilities together!” and its “S.A.F.E.” initiative, recently introduced in the region to guarantee the highest standards of safety and hygiene in its restaurants.
Subway® guests will find the “Aruba Health & Happiness Code” certification seal visible in all of the company’s restaurants on the island.
